Common questions

Do I need an account to use Photo Expert?

No. Every astronomical calculation runs on your device and the App is fully usable as a guest. Signing in only syncs your plans, saved locations and camera bag across devices.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed by the app store where you purchased them, not by us. Manage or cancel them through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled under the applicable store's policies.

My MIOPS SMART+ won't connect

Make sure Bluetooth is on, the trigger is powered and not already paired to another phone, and that Photo Expert has Bluetooth permission in Settings → Photo Expert. Power-cycle the trigger, then retry from Tools → Devices. If it still fails, the Help Center has model-specific steps.

Why does the App ask for my location?

Sun, moon and twilight times depend entirely on where you are. Location is also used to fetch local weather and to centre the planner map. You can decline and enter a location manually instead — see the permissions table for exactly what each permission does.

How do I delete my account and data?

Open Profile → Account → Delete account in the App and confirm. If you have lost access to your device, email info@miopsteknoloji.com from the address you signed up with. What gets erased, and when, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Which languages are supported?

English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Russian, Turkish and Simplified Chinese. The App follows your device language setting.

Reach a person

We answer support email within two business days. Telling us your device and OS version, your Photo Expert version (Profile → About) and what you were doing when it went wrong will get you a real answer instead of a follow-up question.
